The invention relates to a method for treating raw water laden with impurities in a treatment facility including at least one step of placing water in contact with a powdered adsorbent agent in an agitated pre-contact area (2), a step of ballasted flocculation, a step of settling,extracting a mixture of sludge,ballast and the powdered adsorbent agent from the bottom of the settlement area (5), and inserting the mixture in a hydrocyclone (11) to a transition area (14). The method also includes a step of recycling the mixture of sludge and powdered adsorbent agent from the transition area(14) in the pre-contact area (2), continuously measuring at least one datum showing the concentration of powdered adsorbent agent in the pre-contact area (2), and a step of injecting a suspension of new powdered adsorbent agent in an aqueous medium upstream when the concentration of powdered adsorbent agent in the pre-contact area (2) is below a predetermined threshold value, as well as a step of acidifying said suspension of adsorbent agent.
Procédé de traitement d'une eau brute chargée d'impuretés au sein d'une installation de traitement comprenant au moins une étape de mise en contact dans une zone agitée de pré-contact (2) de l'eau avec un agent adsorbant en poudre, une étape de floculation lestée, une étape de décantation, l'extraction d' un mélange de boues, de ballast et d'agent adsorbant en poudre en partie basse de la zone de décantation (5), et l'introduction du mélange dans un hydrocyclone (11), l'acheminement de surverses dudit hydrocyclone (11) constituée par un mélange de boue et de réactif adsorbant en poudre dans une zone de transition (14). Le procédé comprend de plus une étape de recyclage dans la zone de pré-contact (2) du mélange de boues et d'agent adsorbant en poudre provenant de la zone de transition (14), la mesure en continu d'au moins une information représentative de la concentration en agent adsorbant en poudre dans la zone de pré-contact (2), et une étape d'injection en amont d'une suspension d'agent adsorbant en poudre neuf en milieu aqueux lorsque la concentration en agent adsorbant en poudre dans la zone de pré-contact (2) est inférieure à une valeur seuil prédéterminée ainsi qu'une étape d'acidifiation de ladite suspension d'agent adsorbant.
