The present invention is directed to an improvement in a method of weight and/or body-fat reduction comprising a (preferably moderate) reduction in the caloric intake of a subject in need of such treatment in combination with administration to said subject of a prolactin inhibitor. Additionally, the present invention is directed to an improvement in a method for altering and/or resetting prolactin profiles (and thereby controlling one or more metabolic disorders such as obesity, excessive body fat, hyperlipidemia, hyperlipoproteinemia, hyperglycemia, hypercholesterolemia, hyperinsulinemia, insulin, resistance, glucose intolerance, and Type II diabetes) comprising administration to a subject in need of such treatment of a prolactin inhibitor at a predetermined time or times during 24-hour period in combination with a (preferably moderate) reduction of the caloric intake of said subject.
Procédé amélioré de réduction du poids et/ou de la graisse corporelle comprenant une réduction (modérée de préférence) de la ration calorique d'un sujet nécessitant un traitement de ce type associée à l'administration d'un inhibiteur de prolactine. Cette invention concerne également une amélioration d'un procédé de modification et/ou de réglage des courbes de prolactine (qui permet donc de réguler un ou plusieurs déréglements du métabolisme tels que l'obésité, l'excès de graisse corporelle, l'hyperlipidémie, l'hyperlipoprotéinémie, l'hyperglycémie, l'hypercholestérolémie, l'hyperinsulinémie, l'insulinorésistance, l'intolérance au glucose et le diabète du type II) comprenant l'administration à un sujet nécessitant ce type de traitement d'un inhibiteur de prolactine à un ou des moments prédéterminés pendant une période de 24 heures associée à une réduction (modérée de préférence) de la ration calorique dudit sujet.
