Typically, such a well has an injection life which is several orders of magnitude longer than that of a conventional vertical disposal well drilled in the same formation and taking the same amount of dirty waste fluid. Therefore, considerably relaxed disposal fluid specifications can be tolerated and large fluctuations in both quality and quantity of the fluid can be accepted.
