ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Ventilation of rooms, particularly of relatively large rooms of irregular configuration, is improved by supplying to the room a relatively large volume flow of conditioned air having a relatively low velocity, and by deflecting such flow to desired direction by means of small jets of air introduced within the body of the flow, the volume of air supplied by the jet being considerably less than that of the flow. The velocity of the air supplied by the jet is substantially greater than that of the flow. Accordingly, the jets impart to the main air flow or stream a momentum to distribute or direct same as desired.
