The present invention relates to a method for in process weld seam testing of a weld seam joining two metallic parts, said method comprising the steps of: providing two laser beams, directing the first laser beam on a first predetermined position on the first metallic part and directing the second laser beam on a second predetermined position on the second metallic part, and detecting the reflected light of the laser beams along the weld seam. The invention further relates to an apparaturs for weld seam testing of a laser weld seam joining a metallic container or tube and a metallic cap, said apparatus comprising: two laser beam emitting devices or a scanning laser beam emitting device, a means for positioning of the container or tube and the cap in a position such that the first beam is directed on a first predetermined positon on the container or tube or that the scanning laser beams scans the first and second predetermined position, and optionally stopping means, a means for moving the container or tube and cap so as to allow for scanning of the laser beam(s) along weld seam, and a detector for detecting the reflected light of the laser beam(s) along the weld seam.
La présente invention concerne un procédé destiné à être utilisé dans une procédure de vérification d'un joint de soudure reliant deux parties métalliques, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes: on utilise deux faisceaux laser, on dirige le premier faisceau laser sur un premier endroit prédéterminé situé sur la première partie métallique et on dirige le deuxième faisceau laser sur un deuxième endroit prédéterminé situé sur la deuxième partie métallique, puis on détecte la lumière des faisceaux laser réfléchie le long du joint de soudure. Cette invention concerne également un appareil permettant de vérifier le joint de soudure effectué par faisceaux laser qui relie un contenant ou un tube métallique et un bouchon métallique, ledit appareil comprenant: deux dispositifs émettant un faisceau laser ou un dispositif émettant un faisceau laser d'exploration, un moyen de positionnement du contenant ou du tube et du bouchon dans une position telle que le premier faisceau laser est dirigé sur un premier endroit prédéterminé sur le contenant ou le tube et que le deuxième faisceau laser est dirigé sur un deuxième endroit prédéterminé sur le contenant ou le tube, ou dans une position telle que les faisceaux laser d'exploration balaient les premier et deuxième endroits prédéterminés, et facultativement un moyen d'arrêt, un moyen servant à déplacer le contenant ou le tube et le bouchon de manière à permettre d'effectuer le balayage du ou des faisceaux laser le long du joint de soudure et un détecteur servant à détecter la lumière réfléchie du ou des faisceaux laser le long du joint de soudure.
