A method is provided for switching reels in a paper in a paper machine that includes apply an adhesive onto a continuously running paper web to begin a new paper roll and severing the continuous paper web from the tail end of the newly completed roll. The running paper web is supported by a reel drum and wound onto exchangeable reel shafts in contact with the reel drum in order to form rolls of paper. A hopper with a heater heats an adhesive agent to temporarily lower its viscosity and stickness for smooth and even applying. A pair of nozzles, mounted on a pair rodless cylinders and translating therewith, spray jets containing said adhesive onto the web and/or the reel shaft. The web is then advanced onto the reel shaft thereby forming an adhesive interface between the web and the shaft. Tension is applied across the adhesive interface to server the paper web at the adhesive interface, thereby separating the trailing end of the paper web of the previously completed roll from the current paper roll.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de commuter des bobines dans des machines papier. Ce procédé consiste à appliquer une colle sur une bande papier défilant en continu pour commencer un nouveau rouleau de papier et séparer la bande continue de papier de l'extrémité en queue du rouleau qui vient d'être fini. La bande papier défilante est supportée par un tambour d'enroulement et enroulée sur des arbres de bobine remplaçables en contact avec le tambour d'enroulement pour former des rouleaux de papier. Un dispositif d'alimentation doté d'un chauffage chauffe l'agent adhésif pour temporairement réduire sa viscosité et son adhésivité pour une application régulière et uniforme. Une paire de buses, montée sur une paire des cylindres sans barre avec lesquels elles sont entraînées en translation, pulvérisent des jets contenant cette colle sur la bande papier et/ou l'arbre de bobine. La bande est ensuite amenée jusqu'à l'arbre de bobine formant ainsi une interface adhésive entre la bande et l'arbre. Une tension est appliquée sur l'interface adhésive pour séparer la bande papier au niveau de l'interface adhésive, séparant ainsi la l'extrémité en queue de la bande papier du rouleau papier qui vient d'être fini juste avant le rouleau de papier en cours.
