The invention relates to a method in operating a lined cavern provided for the storage of gas, such as natural gas, coming from a pipeline, in the form of gas. During filling of the cavern with gas to a nominal pressure, at least a portion of the gas is withdrawn from the cavern and recirculated to the cavern under cooling and without substantial compression. The invention also relates to a method in operating a lined cavern provided for the storage of gas, such as natural gas, coming from a pipeline, in the form of gas. In the withdrawal of gas from the cavern for introduction into the pipeline, a portion of the withdrawn gas is, before the pipeline, recirculated to the cavern under heating and without substantial compression.
La présente invention concerne un procédé d'exploitation d'une caverne revêtue destinée au stockage de gaz, de gaz naturel par exemple, provenant d'un gazoduc sous la forme gazeuse selon lequel pendant le remplissage de la caverne par le gaz à pression nominale, au moins une partie du gaz est extraite de la caverne et remise en circulation refroidie et sans compression sensible dans la caverne. La présente invention concerne également un procédé d'exploitation d'une caverne revêtue destinée au stockage de gaz, de gaz naturel par exemple, provenant d'un gazoduc sous la forme gazeuse selon lequel lorsque le gaz est extrait de la caverne pour être introduit dans le gazoduc, une partie du gaz extrait est, avant d'arriver au gazoduc, remise en circulation réchauffée et sans compression sensible dans la caverne.
