It is desired to prevent disalignment of the edges of a folded sheet by smoothly feeding the sheet while keeping tension fluctuactions to a minimum when the sheet is unwound from a paper roll set in a paper feed unit to a packaging unit even though the paper roll diameter decreases gradually as the sheet is unwound. A sheet length measuring sensor or rotary encoder is provided in the paper feed path through which the packaging sheet unwound from the paper roll is fed toward the packaging unit. An angle sensor is provided which comprises Hall element sensors provide on a support shaft and magnets provided on a core pipe of the paper roll. Any change is the signals from one of these sensors relative to the signal from the other sensor is used to calculate the paper roll winding length, and the sheet tension is adjusted to an optimum, constant level by controlling the sheet braking force stepwise according to the roll diameter measured by the sensors.
On désire empêcher le désalignement des bords d'une feuille pliée en l'alimentant en douceur et en gardant les fluctuations de tension à un minimum quand la feuille est enroulée d'une bobine de papier installée dans une unité d'alimentation de papier, dans une unité d'emballage même si le diamètre de la bobine de papier diminue graduellement à mesure qu'elle se vide. Un capteur de mesure de la longueur du papier ou un codeur rotatif est inséré dans le chemin d'alimentation du papier emprunté par le papier d'emballage quand il se dévide de la bobine et arrive dans l'unité d'emballage. Un capteur d'angle avec éléments capteurs Hall est prévu sur l'arbre de support et des aimants sont placés dans le tube central de la bobine de papier. Tout changement dans les signaux de ces capteurs par rapport au signal de l'autre capteur sert à calculer la longueur d'enroulement de la bobine de papier et la tension de la feuille est réglée à un niveau optimal constant grâce au contrôle progressive de la force de freinage de la feuille d'après le diamètre de la bobine mesurée par les capteurs.
