A method of aeration of liquids which consists of the following steps. Firstly, injecting a gas into a flowing liquid stream thereby forming a plurality of gas bubbles. The gas being of lesser density than the liquid. Secondly, directing the liquid stream through a restriction whereby the gas bubbles pass more quickly through the restriction pneumatically accelerating the liquid.
