A method of aerial photography with digital stills. A first step involves securing a digital camera to an aircraft equipped with a global positioning system (GPS) apparatus capable of generating GPS coordinates. A second step involves determining an incremental adjustment of the GPS coordinates generated by the GPS apparatus necessary to accommodate for air speed and above ground level (AGL) height of the aircraft. A third step involves taking a digital still image with the digital camera while the aircraft is in flight. A fourth step involves recording adjusted GPS coordinates.
