A method of anchoring an object to a wall constructed of drywall sheeting material is described. Firstly, drive a blade of a flat knife-like body into drywall sheeting material such that the body is held in position solely by compression of the drywall upon the blade. The blade is substantially equal in length to the thickness of the drywall. Secondly, leave a portion of the body immediately adjacent the opposed end of the knife-like body exposed to form a cantilever support.
