A method of venting a plant for filling containers (2) with an. apportioned quantity of liquid without air inclusions by means of a dispensing pump (9) in which two control valves (11', 12') disposed at the outlet from a filler pipe (4) are intermittently opened and closed, the liquid (17) being supplied via a buffer container (13). To avoid faulty filling at the start of the filling operation during the forward run of product, and in order to be able as far as possible to determine an exact switch-on time for the actual filling process, it is according to the invention envisaged that for venting the filler pipe (4) and the dispensing pump (9) connected thereto, two serially connected control valves (11', 12') are so controlled separately from each other that upon creation of the vacuum in the buffer container (13) both control valves (11', 12') are opened; after the major part of the air has bubbled out upwardly, firstly the upper control valve (12') and after an adjustable period the lower control valve (11') are closed after which the upper control valve (12') is opened and closed again after a further interval of time.
Méthode pour créer le vide d'air dans une installation de remplissage de contenants (2) par apport d'une quantité prédéterminée de liquide désaéré au moyen d'une pompe de distribution (9) dans laquelle deux valves de régulation (11 et 12) montées à la sortie d'un tuyau de remplissage (4) sont ouvertes et fermées par intermittence, l'alimentation en liquide (17) étant assurée par un récipient tampon (13). Pour assurer le remplissage adéquat des contenants en défilement dès le début de l'opération, et afin de déterminer avec le plus haut degré possible d'exactitude le déclenchement de l'opération de remplissage, il est proposé, dans le but de créer le vide à l'intérieur du tuyau de remplissage (4) et de la pompe de distribution (9), de raccorder en série deux valves de régulation (11 et 12) dont l'ouverture serait commandée au moment de la création du vide à l'intérieur du récipient tampon (13); après évacuation de la majeure partie de l'air, la fermeture de la première valve (12) serait suivie de la fermeture de la deuxième valve (11); après un certain intervalle, le cycle se terminerait par l'ouverture et la fermeture de la première valve (12).
