ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This disclosure is concerned with wrapping sheet material about cylindrical inserts, such as wrapping ciga- rette paper about filter inserts, with controlled applica- tion of spaced adhesive dots or dashes for securing the material to sections of the insert and synchronously con- trolled cutting of the same to minimize adhesive collection upon the cutter.
