The upper jaw (11) and the lower jaw (12) of the head are each passed along one of the guide surfaces in such a way that they are forced apart. For tearing the jaws apart it is sufficient to exert a slight force in the direction of transport. The head can be continuously conveyed into the original direction and remain oriented in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor track. The head can be stably retained in simple manner, while the jaws are passed through the wedge.
