An apparatus (10) for pelletizing a feed material containing finely divided solids and water by compressing the feed material in the die cavities (22) of a pellet mill and permitting excess water to escape from the material being compressed through at least one water escape opening (50) in each die cavity.

Cette invention concerne un dispositif (10) de pelletisation d'un matériau d'alimentation renfermant des particules solides et de l'eau. Le procédé utilisé consiste à comprimer le matériau d'alimentation dans les cavités de moulage (22) d'une machine à agglomérer et à laisser l'eau excédentaire s'échapper du matériau pendant la compression par au moins une ouverture d'évacuation d'eau (50) pratiquée dans chacune desdites cavités de moulage.
