ABSTRACT In a method of, and apparatus for, making an electrical harness consisting of a multi-contact electrical connector to terminals of which a plurality of insulated wires of different lengths are connected, the wires are fed through a wire stripping station with its stripper ram raised, to a wire connecting station, with wire lengthening blades and wire stuffers also raised. The wire stuffers are first lowered to connect the wires to terminals in a connector at the connecting station, the lengthening blades are then lowered to form loops in the wires to lengthen them differentially, and the stripper ram is then lowered to sever the wires, and the insulation thereof, back from the ends of the wires, The lengthening blades are finally further lowered to cause the severed ends of the wires to be stripped of insulation.
