ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for axially rotatably clamping a cylindrical hollow body during weld coating of the hollow body to increase the wall thickness thereof has a pair of supports for opposite ends of the body, the supports each comprising a plurality of support members which are radially adjustable within the hollow body for releasably clamping the latter. The supports are mounted on co-axial cylindrical members, which in turn are rotatably supported on rollers.
