A method of recovering carbon dioxide gas from the combustion exhaust gas of fossil fuel, using a combustion equipment, wherein fuel gas is supplied to an anode chamber of a molten carbonate fuel cell and oxidizing gas is supplied to a cathode chamber of the fuel cell, the combustion exhaust gas from the combustion equipment is supplied to the cathode chamber as part of the oxidizaing gas, C02 in the combustion exhaust gas is allowed to react with 02 in the oxidizing gas at the cathode to produce carbonate ion, which is allowed to pass through the electrolyte of the fuel cell and to reach the anode, which the carbonate ion is allowed to react with hydrogen in the fuel gas to produce C02 and H20, the anode exhaust gas containing C02 and H20 generated at the anode is discharged from the anode chamber, H20 is separated from the anode discharge gas and high-concentration C02 gas is recovered.
Méthode pour récupérer du dioxyde de carbone gazeux à partir du gaz libéré par un combustible fossile brûlé grâce à un dispositif de combustion où le gaz combustible alimente un compartiment anodique d'une pile à carbonates fondus; le gaz oxydant alimente le compartiment cathodique de la pile à combustible. Le gaz libéré par la combustion, provenant du dispositif de combustion, est envoyé dans le compartiment cathodique et fait partie du gaz oxydant; on fait réagir à la cathode le CO2 du gaz libéré par la combustion avec le O2 du gaz oxydant de façon à former l'ion carbonate, qu'on laisse passer à travers l'électrolyte de la pile jusqu'à l'anode, où l'ion carbonate réagit avec l'hydrogène de la pile pour produire C02 et H20; le gaz libéré à l'anode, renfermant C02 et H20, est évacué du compartiment anodique; H20 est séparé du gaz libéré à l'anode et on récupère un gaz à forte teneur en CO2.
