Method of and arrangement for mapping first range sensor data from a first range sensor (3(1)) to image data from a camera (9(j)). The method includes: .cndot. receiving time and position data from a position determination device on board a mobile system, as well as the first range sensor data from the first range sensor (3(1)) on board the mobile system and the image data from the camera (9(j)) on board the mobile system; .cndot. identifying a first points cloud within the first range sensor data, relating to at least one object; .cndot. producing a mask relating to the object based on the first points cloud; .cndot. mapping the mask on object image data relating to the same object as present in the image data from the at least one camera (9(j)); .cndot. performing a predetermined image processing technique on at least a portion of the object image data.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour le mappage de premières données de capteur de distance provenant d'un premier capteur de distance (3(1)) à des données d'image provenant d'une caméra (9(j)). Le procédé comprend les opérations consistant : à recevoir des données de temps et de position provenant d'un dispositif de détermination de position embarqué dans un système mobile, ainsi que les premières données de capteur de distance provenant du premier capteur de distance (3(1)) embarqué dans le système mobile et les données d'image provenant de la caméra (9(j)) embarquée dans le système mobile; à identifier un premier nuage de points dans les premières données de capteur de distance, relatives à au moins à un objet; à produire un masque relatif à l'objet sur la base du premier nuage de points; à mapper le masque sur des données d'image objet relatives au même objet présent dans les données d'image à partir de la ou des caméras (9(j)); et à effectuer une technique de traitement d'image prédéterminée sur au moins une partie des données d'image objet.
