ABSTRACT: An electrode which is constructed as a needle is arranged on a rotatable drum which is also capable of performing translatory movements. At the recording area the needle slides directly over the paper under pressure, the paper being slightly pushed away thereby. The contact surface area of the needle with the paper determines the width of the recorded track. Consequently, microrecordings can also be performed.
