A B S T R A C T A method of and an apparatus for producing a shaped concrete block or brick for hydraulics, particularly for harbour installations, are provided. The block or brick has two spaced arms formed at right angles to each other and a web connecting the centres of the arms. According to the method, the brick is formed by concreting in a dismountable shuttering with the arms located horizontally and the web vertically. The apparatus comprises a shuttering having a statonary, lower shuttering part which has a horizontal longitudinal axis for forming substantially half of one arm of the shaped concrete brick and two stuttering parts separable by lateral movement.
