The system includes a communi- cation channel (160) coupled to at least two terminals having the ability to send and receive information. Where one ter- minal is deemed to be the client A (110), and the other terminal is deemed the server B (130). Upon receiving a re- quest for information from the client A (110), the server B (110) transfers the requested information. In addition to the requested information, the server B (130) adds certain additional informa- tion either in the form of the coupon C (that can be enciphered), or in the form of a pointer to a coupon database that al- lows the client A (110) to be recognized by other servers B' not nece ssarily re- lated to the server B (130), issuing the original information C. Any server(s) B' that subsequently recognizes client A (110) as the client A makes requests for information to the new server(s) B' would only have the ability to recognize portions of the information C related to it.
Le système faisant l'objet de l'invention comprend un canal de communication (160) relié à au moins deux terminaux pouvant s'échanger des informations, un des terminaux étant considéré comme le client A (110) et l'autre comme le serveur B (130). Sur réception d'une demande d'informations du client A (110), le serveur B (130) transfère les informations demandées. Outre les informations demandées, le serveur B (130) ajoute certaines informations, soit sous la forme du coupon C (qui peut être codé), soit sous la forme d'un pointeur, à une base de données de coupons, permettant au client A (110) d'être reconnu par d'autres serveurs B qui ne sont pas nécessairement liés au serveur B (130). Ces derniers diffuseront les informations originales C. N'importe quel serveur B' qui reconnaîtra par la suite le client A (110), lorsque ce dernier demandera des informations aux nouveaux serveurs B', ne pourra reconnaître que certaines parties des informations C qui lui sont associées.
