A method comprises providing a thermoset cross-linked polymeric heat- shrinkable article having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end has at least one extended portion and one non-extended portion, wherein the second end has a first area and a first edge portion, applying an adhesive compound to the heat-shrinkable article, applying the heat-shrinkable article to an apparatus, positioning the heat- shrinkable article to the apparatus such that the adhesive compound contacts the apparatus, layering the at least one extended portion onto the first area of the second end, abutting the at least one non-extended portion to the first edge portion of the second end, and causing heat-shrinkage of the heat-shrinkable article.
Procédé consistant à fournir un article thermorétractable polymère, réticulé et thermodurci possédant une première et une seconde extrémité, ladite première extrémité possédant au moins une partie dilatée et une partie non dilatée et la seconde extrémité une première surface et une première partie de rebord. Ce procédé consiste aussi à appliquer un composé adhésif sur l'article thermorétractable, à appliquer l'article thermorétractable sur un appareil, à positionner ledit article par rapport à l'appareil de manière que le composé adhésif entre en contact avec l'appareil, à recouvrir la partie dilatée sur la première surface de la seconde extrémité, à faire abouter la partie non dilatée contre la première partie de rebord de la seconde extrémité et à provoquer la thermorétraction de l'article thermorétractable.
