ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bore frame is provided with a bore machine for boring holes at a relatively high level above a base plane from the base plane, for example for boring vertical holes in a structural floor of concrete for applying anchoring members intended for the mounting of a false ceiling. The frame comprises a tubular body adjustable as to its length, a holder supported at one end of the body for the bore machine, which holder is movable on a guide member connected to the tubular body and an operating handle pivotally mounted on the tubular body which handle between its ends is connected to a connecting member which via a pulley is connected to the holder for moving the holder and therewith the bore machine when a downward directed force is applied on the operating handle. A method of applying the anchoring member is also disclosed.
