A method of assaying a substance having an affinity based on the pearl chain formation of carrier particles. By utilizing carrier particles having a specific particle diameter, the number of carrier particles can be specifically counted even when blood cells coexist therewith. Thus, a whole blood sample can be used as it is as an assay sample without the need of separating the blood serum and blood plasma therefrom. Therefore, there is no need of separating out blood serum and blood plasma in preparation for the assay of a blood ingredient.

L'invention porte sur une méthode d'analyse d'une substance possédant une affinité basée sur la formation en chaînes de perles de particules de support. L'utilisation de particules de support ayant un diamètre particulaire spécifique permet de dénombrer de manière spécifique le nombre de particules de support même lorsque des cellules sanguines coexistent. Ainsi, un échantillon sanguin dans son intégralité peut être utilisé comme échantillon d'analyse sans qu'il soit nécessaire de séparer le sérum sanguin et le plasma sanguin de celui-ci. Ainsi, il n'est pas nécessaire de séparer le sérum sanguin et le plasma sanguin pour préparer l'analyse d'un ingrédient sanguin.
