A method is disclosed for assigning time slots in a system comprising a plurality of subscriber facilities (NT) connected to a center (HUB) via a common medium, the common medium being divided into a plurality of frequency or wavelength channels which are subdivided into time slots. The center assigns time slots to at least part of the subscriber facilities by specifying one channel and one time-slot number for each assigned time slot. After each time slot used, each subscriber facility involved changes to the next allocated channel. Each subscriber facility involved sends information in the time slot with the next assigned time-slot number. Also disclosed are a system, a center, and a subscriber facility for carrying out this method.
Méthode d'affectation de créneaux temporels dans un système. Comprend un certain nombre d'installations d'abonné (NT) connectées à un centre (HUB) au moyen d'un support commun, ce dernier étant divisé en un certain nombre de canaux de fréquences ou de longueurs d'onde, subdivisés en créneaux temporels. Le centre affecte des créneaux temporels à au moins une partie des installations d'abonné en spécifiant dans chaque cas un canal et un numéro de créneau temporel. Après chaque créneau temporel utilisé, chaque installation d'abonné participante passe au prochain canal affecté. Chaque installation d'abonné participante envoie pendant le créneau temporel de l'information contenant le prochain numéro de créneau temporel affecté. Un système, un centre et une installation d'abonné associés à l'exécution de la méthode sont également présentés.
