A method of automatically controlled sampling of well fluid from a well during drawdown and buildup testing, comprising shutting in and then opening the well to perform a drawdown and buildup test on the well; monitoring a downhole parameter during the drawdown and buildup test; and trapping a well fluid sample automatically in response to the monitored downhole parameter.

Méthode de prélèvement automatique contrôlé d'échantillons de fluide dans un puits à partir du puits pendant les essais de soutirage et de remontée de pression. La méthode consiste à fermer puis à ouvrir le puits pour réaliser un essai de soutirage et de remontée de pression; à mesurer un paramètre de fond pendant l'essai de soutirage et de remontée de pression, et à prélever automatiquement un échantillon du fluide dans le puits d'après le paramètre de fond mesuré.
