ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A simplified method of bonding organic peroxide vulcanized silicone rubber compositions to substrate surfaces has been developed. By adding specified amounts of acryloxyalkyl- silane to the unvulcanized silicone rubber composition, a composition is obtained which bonds to substrates when vulcanized in contact with the surface of the substrate. This method can be used to produce fabric reinforced rubber articles such as tubes, hoses, tapes and diaphragms.
