ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of culturing human cells which comprises effecting cultivation in a culture medium containing an extract of micro algae, such as Chlorella, Scenedesmus and Spirulina, said method permitting the normal successive cultivation of human cells to be maintained efficiently without giving birth to any morphological and genetic mutation over a much greater number of successions of generations than was hitherto even by the incorporation of animal serum in the culture medium, the improvement occurring even when the addition of such animal serum is cut down substantially, or even completely excluded.
