The invention describes a method of lining a well using expandable tubing including the steps of lowering an expandable tubing in a well bore; injecting a sealant composition into said well; letting the sealant composition solidify into a deformable matrix embedding at least a bottom section of said tubing within said well; and expanding the tubing. The invention allows the creation of a high quality seal at the shoe of the expandable casing because the deformable material is highly stressed by the expansion, and it also allows for the rest of the casing to be properly supported and protected by conventional cement, without incurring excessive wait-on-cement times.
L'invention concerne un procédé de chemisage d'un puits au moyen d'un tubage extensible, consistant à installer un tubage extensible dans un puits de forage, à injecter une composition d'étanchéité dans ledit puits, à attendre la solidification de la composition d'étanchéité en une matrice déformable intégrant au moins une section inférieure du tubage du puits, et à procéder à l'extension du tubage. L'invention permet d'obtenir un joint d'étanchéité de haute qualité au niveau du sabot du gainage extensible grâce à la forte contrainte à laquelle est soumis le matériau déformable lors de l'extension, et permet également au reste du gainage d'être correctement supporté et protégé par un ciment classique, sans générer de temps d'attente excessifs pour le séchage du ciment.
