There is disclosed a method of charging fine-grained ore into a reactor pressure vessel through which process gas flows. The heated ore at first is introduced into a conveying pressure vessel, is pressurized within the same by compressed gas and subsequently is conveyed into the reactor pressure vessel through a conveying duct by aid of thecompressed gas. In order to ensure favorable utilization of the reactor pressure vessel under uniform stress and to safeguard troublefree progression of reduction while directly charging the ore, a portion of the ore is introduced into at least one further conveying pressure vessel and is pressurized within the same also by compressed gas. Charging of the ore into the reactor pressure vessel is effected continuously by alternately feeding once from the one conveying pressure vessel and subsequently from the other conveying pressure vessel. The compressed gas is taken from the process gas as a quantitative or as a component portion of the process gas and is fed back to the same along with the ore.

La présente invention a pour objet une méthode de chargement de minerai fin dans un caisson de réacteur à l'intérieur duquel circule un gaz de traitement. Le minerai chauffé est introduit dans un caisson de transport sous pression; le minerai est mis sous pression à l'intérieur de ce caisson au moyen d'un gaz sous pression puis est transporté vers le caisson du réacteur, dans un conduit de transport, par l'aide du gaz sous pression. Pour faire en sorte que le caisson de réacteur soit utilisé de façon optimale dans des conditions uniformes et pour garantir un déroulement sans ennui de la réduction pendant le chargement direct du minerai, une partie du minerai est introduite dans un moins un caisson de transport sous pression, et est également mise sous pression dans ce caisson à l'aide d'un gaz comprimé. Le chargement du minerai dans le caisson de réacteur se fait en continu en alternance entre un des caissons de transport sous pression et l'autre caisson de transport sous pression. Le gaz comprimé est prélevé du gaz de traitement comme mesure quantitative ou comme composant du gaz de traitement et il est recyclé vers le gaz de traitement, avec le minerai.
