A method of systematically linking investing with giving by designing a fee structure within an investment whereby a part of the fee is automatically transferred to a donor-advised account within charitable community foundation. A charitable liaison will usually introduce a donor to this process of charitable giving/investing. In addition, the donor will often have an investment advisor. Both the charitable liaison and the investment advisor will receive a part of the fee associated with the investment. If the form of investment is a mutual fund, then the fund manager will also be compensated from a part of the fee. Alternatively, a credit card or debit card may also be utilized to systematically link charitable giving with consumer purchases. A part of the fee equal to the difference between what a consumer charges and what the card issuer pays to the merchant is given to a charitable community foundation..
Cette invention concerne un procédé permettant de coupler systématiquement un investissement et un don à l'aide d'une structure de cotisation au sein d'un système d'investissement selon lequel une partie de la cotisation est transférée automatiquement et est gérée par des donateurs au sein d'une oeuvre de bienfaisance. Un organe de liaison est généralement là pour informer un donateur de cette formule de don/investissement. Par ailleurs, le donateur utilise souvent les services d'un conseiller en investissements. L'organe de liaison comme le conseiller en investissements perçoivent une partie de la contribution associée à l'investissement. Si l'investissement se fait dans un fonds commun de placement, le gestionnaire du fonds sera rétribué au moyen d'une partie de la contribution. En variante, il est possible d'utiliser une carte de crédit ou de débit pour coupler systématiquement les dons et des achats de biens de consommation. Une partie de la contribution correspondant à la différence entre ce que le consommateur paie et ce que l'organisme émetteur de la carte verse au commerçant est reversé à un fonds de bienfaisance.
