A conditioner composition for a printing plate with a metallic non-print areas on the printing surface contains a polymeric or oligomeric component. The polymeric component adheres to the metal (particularly, aluminum) surface of the non-print area(s) of the printing member, and has a hydrophilic portion. The conditioned printing plate is particularly useful for printing single fluid inks having an emulsified hydrophilic fluid phase.

Le composant polymère, qui adhère à la surface métallique (de l'aluminium notamment) de la ou des régions non imprimables de l'élément d'impression, a une partie hydrophile.
