A combination unit for attachment to a hearing aid comprises an adapter and an accessory, having mating guideways, respective assembly pressure faces adjacent the guideways and respective disassembly pressure faces, also adjacent the guideways. The adapter comprises a shoe, i.e. a sleeve-like structure, adapted to partially enclose the lower portion of the hearing aid. The accessory may comprise a miniature FM receiver. The receiver housing exterior is tailored to match the adapter exterior in order that the respective walls are flush when the parts are assembled. The combination unit of the adapter and the accessory is easily assembled and easily disassembled, and is very compact. The invention provides a combination unit, including the shoe and the accessory, as well as a method for attaching an accessory to a hearing aid.
La présente invention a trait à une unité de combinaison destiné à être fixé à une prothèse auditive comportant un adaptateur et un accessoire, présentant des passages de guidage d'accouplement, des faces de pression d'assemblage respectives (14, 29) adjacentes aux passages de guidage et des faces de pression de démontage respectives (13, 30), également adjacentes aux passages de guidage. L'adaptateur (2) comporte un sabot, c'est à dire une structure de type gaine, adapté à entourer en partie la portion inférieure de la prothèse auditive. L'accessoire (3) peut comprendre un récepteur à modulation de fréquence miniaturisé. L'extérieur du boîtier de récepteur (22) est conformé pour épouser la forme extérieure de l'adaptateur de sorte que les parois respectives soient affleurées lors de l'assemblage des parties. L'unité de combinaison (1) de l'adaptateur et de l'accessoire est facilement assemblée et facilement démontée, et est très compacte. L'invention a trait à une unité de combinaison, comportant le sabot et l'accessoire, ainsi qu'un procédé pour la fixation d'un accessoire à une prothèse auditive.
