The given method of control in executive devices allows one to combine the specific ability to change considerably the speed of operations of pneumatic devices and the ability of hydraulic gears to control proportionally the operations which includes the immediate stop-action with counteraction to the changing condition of the executive device under the influence of external forces. The main subunit (Sketch-2) consists of: 1 - executive pneumatic cylinder; 2 - piston of an executive pneumatic cylinder; 3 - hydraulic lock; 4 - air branch pipe; 5 - executive unit of hydraulic lock; 5 - control unit of hydraulic lock. The piston 2 moves inside the cylinder 1 under the action of air which is supplied through the air branch pipe 4. The piston 2 is structurally integrated with the hydraulic lock 3. The hydraulic lock 3 is designed as a cylinder filled by a hydraulic fluid and has an executive element of the hydraulic lock 5 designed as a piston mechanically connected with the pneumatic cylinder 1 by means of a rod. If the piston 2 moves inside the cylinder 1 under the action of the air supplied through the air branch pipe, the executive element 5 moves inside the hydraulic lock 3. If the executive element 5 moves, the volume of the fluid of both sides changes. As result, the hydraulic fluid flows through the internal channels of the executive element from one side to another. The section of the channels (efficient diameter) for passing the hydraulic fluid through the lock can be changed upon the external commands. The speed of the hydraulic fluid passing through the executive element 5 changes proportionally to the changing section of the channels, as result the speed of the executive element 5 moving inside the hydraulic lock 3 varies. As the executive element 5 is connected to the pneumatic cylinder 1 and the case of the hydraulic lock 3 is connected to the piston 2, the hydraulic fluid passing through the hydraulic lock controls speed of the piston 2 moving in the cylinder 1 and. If the channels of the executive element 5 are closed completely, the piston 2 stops moving in the cylinder 1 regardless of the presence of moving forces. If the moving force acts on the piston in the opposite direction, the direction of hydraulic fluid stream passing through the channels changes.
