ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A homogeneous or heterogeneous mixture of fuel and an oxidizer are fed, non-ignited, into a functional central space or cavity provided with a jacket, the cavity being symmetrically deployed along the axis of symmetry of the reaction space. The peripheral area of the cavity is heated to a working temperature of 800°C and more in such manner that a part of the heat from its surface is deduced or abstracted in a controlled manner. This internal preheated area in the central space or cavity, serves to heat the fuel/oxidizer mixture to ignition temperature. The mixture is ignited on the surface of the cavity, the zone of inten- sive combustion of the complete flow of mixture, as well as intensive temperature zone, are transferred to the space behind the jacket for the central cavity. As the flow continues, in a direction perpendicular to the heat exchang- ing surfaces, the radiation mass placed in the space adjacent to the heat exchanging surfaces is transformed into a posi- tionally stable, intensively radiating body, stabilized independently of the changes of the heat pattern of the combustion process.
