A method of controlling a genetically-modified plant or plant cells, said methodcomprising the following steps: (a) providing a genetically-modified plant or plant cells, said plant or plant cells containing a heterologous nucleic acid encoding a first polypeptide containing or consisting of a first fragment of a protein, (b) introducing a second polypeptide into cells of said genetically-modified plant or plant cells, said second polypeptide containing (i) a second fragment of said protein and (ii) a peptide sequence enabling the introduction of said second polypeptide into cells of said genetically- modified plant or plant cells, whereby said first fragment and said second fragment jointly generate a predetermined function of said protein only when jointly present.

L'invention concerne un procédé de régulation d'un végétal génétiquement modifié ou de cellules végétales, ledit procédé consistant: (a) à utiliser un végétal génétiquement modifié ou des cellules végétales, ledit végétal ou lesdites cellules végétales contenant un acide nucléique hétérologue codant pour un premier polypeptide contenant ou constitué d'un premier fragment d'une protéine, (b) à introduire un second polypeptide dans des cellules dudit végétal génétiquement modifié ou desdites cellules végétales, ledit second polypeptide contenant (i) un second fragment de ladite protéine et (ii) une séquence peptidique permettant l'introduction dudit second polypeptide dans des cellules dudit végétal génétiquement modifié ou desdites cellules végétales, ledit premier fragment et ledit second fragment générant ainsi conjointement une fonction prédéterminée de ladite protéine uniquement lorsqu'ils sont conjointement présents.
