Abstract of the Disclosure A method of inhibiting corrosion and controlling deposition in aqueous mediums, such as in cooling water systems, wherein iron containing well water is used as a water make-up source, is disclosed. The method comprises addition of certain water soluble acrylic acid type/allyl hydroxy propyl sulfonate ether copolymers to the desired aqueous medium.
