- 1 - Abstract The present invention relates to a method of control- ling a drying operation of an electric clothes dryer. The method includes the steps of drying the clothes within a rotary drum by feeding hot air to the rotary drum; detect- ing a moisture content amount of the clothes according to a plurality of electric resistance values by a humidity sensor; controlling the degree of drying of the clothes according to the plurality of electric resistance values by a microcomputer; and carrying out a hot air operation until the detection of one of the plurality of electric resistance values.
