A method of controlling the speed of an electric motor, said method being a digital method designed to control the speed of an induction motor that is powered by a triac device to a preset speed, in which the speed of the motor is measured and a digital numerical value representative of the mathematical first derivative of motor speed is calculated. A determination is made of the digital numerical value of the motor speed first derivative relative to a range, or band, of values. An error signal also is computed that is proportional to the error between the measured current motor speed and the preset speed and a determination is made of the digital numerical value of this error signal relative to a range, or band, of values that includes a value corresponding to that of the motor operating at the preset speed. If the value of each of the two signals is within its respective band, then the two numerical values are added to produce a total error signal whose value is then converted to a signal to a signal to correct the triac triggering angle to that needed to obtain the preset motor speed.
L'invention concerne un procédé de commande de la vitesse d'un moteur électrique, de type procédé numérique conçu pour commander la vitesse d'un moteur à induction alimenté par un dispositif triac à une vitesse prédéterminée, selon lequel la vitesse du moteur est mesurée et une valeur numérique représentant la première dérivée mathématique de la vitesse du moteur est calculée. La valeur numérique de la première dérivée de la vitesse du moteur est déterminée par rapport à une plage, ou bande, de valeurs. Un signal d'erreur proportionnel à l'erreur entre la vitesse du moteur courante mesurée et la vitesse prédéterminée est également calculé, et une valeur numérique de ce signal d'erreur est déterminée par rapport à une plage, ou bande, de valeurs qui comprend une valeur correspondant à celle du moteur fonctionnant à la vitesse prédéterminée. Si la valeur de chacun des deux signaux d'erreur se situe dans sa bande respective, les deux valeurs numériques sont alors ajoutées afin d'obtenir un signal d'erreur total dont la valeur est ensuite convertie en un signal pour corriger l'angle de déclenchement du triac afin d'obtenir la vitesse du moteur prédéterminée.
