The invention consists of soft, bulky tissue products that result from the presence of a debonder/softening agent in the outer layers of the tissue and creping under "closed" pocket conditions. The debonder/softening agents belong to a group of organic chemicals that include several imidazolinium quaternary compounds. These chemicals do not adversely interfere with adhesion, unlike most debonders, to the drying surface of the tissue machine. They can, therefore, be placed in the outer layers of the tissue that contact the dryer surface and improve creping. The tissue can then be creped off of the drying surface using a closed pocket, that is a pocket angle of less than 80 degrees. The closed pocket creping normally produces a thicker, less dense tissue but with coarse crepe. Closed pocket creping and the presence of most debonders in the dryer side layers would be expected to also produce coarse crepe structures. However, the interaction of debonder adhesive properties and the closed pocket creping conditions produces a bulky tissue with sufficiently fine crepe structure that results in high overall softness.
La présente invention concerne des produits en papier mousseline doux et bouffants qui sont le résultat de la présence d'un agent défaisant les liaisons et adoucissant dans les couches extérieures du papier mousseline, et du crêpage dans les conditions d'une poche "fermée". Les agents défaisant les liaisons et adoucissants appartiennent à un groupe de substances chimiques qui comprend plusieurs composés quaternaires d'imidazoline. Le papier mousseline peut ensuite être détaché par crêpage de la surface de séchage au moyen d'une poche fermée, c'est-à-dire une poche ayant un angle inférieur à 80 DEG . Le crêpage par poche fermée produit normalement un papier mousseline plus épais, moins dense, mais avec un crêpage grossier. On s'attendrait à ce que le crêpage par poche fermée et la présence de la plupart des agents défaisant les liaisons dans les couches latérales du séchoir produisent aussi des structures grossières de papier crêpé. Toutefois, l'interaction entre les propriétés adhésives de l'agent défaisant les liaisons et les conditions de crêpage en poche fermée donne un tissu mousseline bouffant ayant une structure crêpée suffisamment fine qui a pour résultat une douceur d'ensemble élevée.
