Oligoamines, such as a compound of the formula H2N(CH2CH2NH)n H in which n is an integer of 2-10, crosslink polymers containing carboxyl functionality unexpectedly faster than conventional diamines such as 1,6-diaminohexane. The combination of an ethylene- acrylic acid copolymer with an oligoamine of this type is useful for, among other things, the production of crosslinked wire and cable insulation.
Linvention concerne des oligoamines, telles quun composé de formule H2N(CH2CH2NH)nH, dans laquelle n est un entier de 2 à 10, qui réticulent des polymères contenant une fonctionnalité carboxyle étonnamment plus rapidement que les diamines classiques telles que le 1,6-diaminohexane. La combinaison dun copolymère éthylène-acide acrylique avec une oligoamine de ce type est utile entre autres pour la fabrication de matériaux isolants réticulés pour câbles et fils électriques.
