A method for the detection of an analyte in a fluid, comprising contacting the fluid with a holographic element comprising a medium and a hologram disposed throughout the volume of the medium, wherein an optical characteristic of the element changes as a result of a variation of a physical property occurring throughout the volume of the medium, wherein the variation arises as a result of interaction between the medium and the analyte, and wherein the reaction and the variation are reversible; and detecting any change of the optical characteristic.
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour détecter une substance à analyser dans un liquide. Ce procédé consiste à mettre en contact le liquide avec un élément holographique comprenant un milieu et un hologramme placé à travers le volume dudit milieu. Une caractéristique optique de l'élément change en fonction d'une variation d'une propriété physique concernant le volume dudit milieu. Cette variation résulte d'une interaction entre le milieu et la substance à analyser. La réaction et la variation sont réversibles. Le procédé consiste ensuite à détecter tout changement de la caractéristique optique.
