This invention provides a method for detecting contamination of a boiler condensate and/or a boiler feedwater in industrial fermentation processes. The method includes measuring an oxidation-reduction potential at one or more locations in the fermentation process with one or more devices capable of measuring oxidation-reduction potential at operating temperature and pressure. If the measured oxidation- reduction potential is not within an optimum range, an alarm is triggered.

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de détection de la contamination dun condensat de chaudière et/ou dune eau dalimentation de chaudière dans des processus de fermentation industriels. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à mesurer un potentiel doxydoréduction en un ou plusieurs endroits du processus de fermentation avec un ou plusieurs dispositifs capables de mesurer le potentiel doxydoréduction aux température et pression de fonctionnement. Si le potentiel doxydoréduction mesuré nest pas compris dans une gamme optimale, une alarme est déclenchée.
