A method of detecting human cytochrome P4502D6 (CYP2D6) gene polymorphism characterized by detecting the presence of an insertion of a repetitive 9-base sequence of TCACCCGTG in the exon 9 of the CYP2D6 gene. This method permits detection of a new polymorphism of CYP2D6 genes which has not been reported heretofore.

Procédé de détection d'un polymorphisme de gène P4502D6 (CYP2D6) de cytochrome humain consistant à détecter la présence d'une séquence répétitive à 9 bases TCACCCGTG introduite dans l'exon 9 du gène CYP2D6.
