A method determines an analyte concentration in a sample including the analyte and a substance. The method (100) includes providing an absorption spectrum of the sample (200). The absorption spectrum has an absorption baseline. The method further includes shifting the absorption spectrum (300) so that the absorption baseline equals a selected absorption value in a selected wavelength range. The method further includes subtracting a substance contribution (400) from the absorption spectrum. Thus, the method provides a corrected absorption spectrum substantially free of a contribution from the substance.

L'invention concerne une méthode permettant de déterminer une concentration d'analyte dans un échantillon contenant l'analyte et une substance. Cette méthode consiste à engendrer un spectre d'absorption de l'échantillon qui possède une référence d'absorption, à déplacer le spectre d'absorption de telle manière que la référence d'absorption équivaut approximativement à une valeur d'absorption sélectionnée dans une gamme de longueurs d'ondes d'absorption sélectionnée, puis, à soustraire une contribution de substance du spectre d'absorption. Ainsi, cette méthode permet d'obtenir un spectre d'absorption corrigé pratiquement exempt d'une contribution de la substance.
