The present invention relates to a method and kit of diagnosis of Immune Restoration Syndrome associated with tuberculosis (TB-IRS) in patients infected with tuberculosis (TB) as well as in HIV co-infected patients comprising detecting an acute increase in Th1 response following exposure to mycobacterial extract, referred as tuberculin or PPD (Purified Protein Derivative) as well as to the 16kDa protein, but not to ESAT-6 or CFP-10, two antigens from mycobacterium tuberculosis.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et une trousse de diagnostic du syndrome de restauration immunitaire lié à la tuberculose (TB-IRS) chez des patients infectés par la tuberculose (TB) et les patients co-infectés par le virus VIH, ce procédé comportant la détection d'une augmentation aiguë de la réponse Th1 consécutive à une exposition à un extrait mycobactérien, notamment la tuberculine ou le dérivé PPD (dérivé protéique purifié) ainsi que la protéine 16kDa, mais pas au ESAT-6 ni au CFP-10, deux antigènes de la tuberculose mycobactérienne.
