In order to establish a radio link in a simple manner even in a network without stationary relay stations, a method of producing a radio link between at least two subscribers of a digital relay radio network is designed so that the individual network subscribers are assigned an individual location-dependent position identifier, the position of all network subscribers being thereby determined relative to one another.
