A method which comprises: calculating the rubber ingredient concentration distribution in block copolymer particles based on the operating conditions for a polymerizer, an equation expressing a model growth of polymer particles on a solid catalyst component, and the particle residence time distribution in each of a homopolymerization zone and a copolymerization zone; and estimating the gel content of the block copolymer particles based on the calculation results. By this method, the gel content of a propylene block copolymer can be precisely estimated.

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'estimer de façon précise la teneur en gel d'un polypropylène séquencé. Ledit procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'on calcule la distribution de la concentration en ingrédients élastomères de particules de copolymère séquencé sur la base des conditions opératoires d'un agent de polymérisation; on formule une équation exprimant le modèle de croissance des particules de polymère sur un composant catalyseur solide et la distribution des temps de séjour dans une zone d'homopolymérisation et dans une zone de copolymérisation; et on estime la teneur en gel des particules de copolymère séquencé à partir des résultats de ce calcul.
