The invention relates to a method and a system for extracting carbon dioxide and/or sulphur dioxide from methane or fumes resulting from hydrocarbon combustion. The inventive system comprises cooling means, such as a refrigerating device with integrated cascade (18, 22, 25, 26, 28, 32, 33, 34, 39, 40) for the cooling of the methane or the fumes at a pressure which is essentially equal to atmospheric pressure and at a temperature such that the carbon dioxide and/or the sulphur dioxide pass directly from vapour state to solid state through an anti-sublimation process.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système d'extraction du dioxyde de soufre et/ou du dioxyde de soufre provenant du méthane ou des fumées de la combustion d'hydrocarbures. Le système comporte des moyens de refroidissement, notamment un appareil frigorifique à cascade intégrée (18, 22, 25, 26, 28, 32, 33, 34, 39, 40), pour refroidir le méthane ou les fumées à une pression sensiblement égale à la pression atmosphérique et à une température telle que le dioxyde de carbone et/ou le dioxyde de soufre passent directement de l'état vapeur à l'état solide, via un processus d'anti-sublimation.
